Oh, that's a little different than my problem. Mine was the top cartridge in the mag changing angle so it's level, not the whole mag itself. I wondered a little about the mag release on mine too as when it's locked in (only with the ACT mag) there's quite a gap between the bottom of the mag and the grip, and you can push the mag in until it's tight, but the spring pressure pushes it back out. The other two mags don't move once they're locked in.
Hope it works out for you, they seem to be a hell of a gun for the price if you can get their bugs worked out.

From what I've seen, YES. I've seen a couple people post that they have never had a problem feeding any ammo with the ACT mags that come with them. But, I think the majority of people have to replace the mags, and some say that doesn't even fix the problem.
Mine is running smoothly with the Tripp mags.

From everything I'm seeing, the main problems seem to be feeding and magazines. I'm not seeing hardly any kind of other problems. Most people are saying the feed problem is a result of the mag catch being out of whack and a replacement almost always fixes the problem. The problem with the mags, in my opinion, is that they are just poor quality.
My gun just got delivered to the warranty center today, so I don't know what specifically is wrong with mine yet. I will post when I find out more. Honestly, I had higher hopes for the gun. I was dissatisfied with a Citadel Compact I had a few years ago and I've not held back on my feelings about Armscor. But to be honest, I had a much better first experience with the Armscor than I have with the American Classic. The AC is going to have to hold up better in the long haul for me to say it's better than the Citadel. Only time will tell.

Update on the progress. I called yesterday to follow up and see what the problem was with the gun and to get an estimated time for return. They said they still haven't gotten to it yet.

You would think that beings EVERYONE has the same issue with their guns, they would just fix the problem at the factory.

I'm of the same opinion. But apparently the party line is that American sales are only a small portion of overall sales of Metro Arms, so just because there are quite a few of us in the US with this problem doesn't mean that "everyone" else has the same problem. At least that's what I've been told.
So far, the gun has spent more time at the warranty center than it has in my possession. And I've yet to put a full mag through the gun.

So, they must sort them at the factory and only send us the bad ones?

I just called Reynerson's to follow up on my gun. They said it just got done. They had to re-cut the frame, re-polish the feed ramp, re-polish the barrel throat, replace the mag catch and mag release, replace the slide stop, replace and re-tune the extractor, and replaced the defective mag. They said they also threw in an extra mag for the trouble. It seems like the gun I bought had a few more problems than most people are seeing. They put 3 full mags of ball ammo through it and 1 mag of JHP ammo through it without any malfunctions. I'm looking forward to getting it back and actually getting to shoot it and enjoy it.
