Default Added a Government size over July 4th weekend

I knew shouldn't have gone into the Kittery Trading Post while vacationing in ME over the 4th. But I did, and after a few hours of browsing and drooling I left with a new Kimber Tactical Custom. (Not the new HD, the aluminum frame)

Other than a good clean it has sat in the case since bringing it home due to work mostly, and lack of ammo. This weekend, however, the stars must have been aligned just right as I swung into Wally World on the way home Friday night and they had several hundred rounds of good old Winchester 230gr sweetness. Then I woke Saturday to the first sunny day we have had in quite some time so I broke her out and put a couple mags through her to start the break-in process.

I'll save the range report until I can put a more substantial amount of lead through it, but with 21 rounds through it I had 2 FTFs (second round in the included factory mag, both times) in the first two mags. The third mag was a Wilson and I had no issues at all.

Blah, Blah, Blah blah here are the pics:

That's a great looking weapon right there! Kind of a mixed blessing that you found her that day huh?
Congrats, and enjoy her!

Excellent choice and very, very good shooting for your third mag through the weapon. Thumbs up on that.

Looking forward to the Range Report!

Very nice! I am still waiting for my 4" tactical pro 2 to arrive from kimber. I can't wait any longer.
