.45 trade for .22

I have an Armscor made Taylor's 1911style .45 and I was wanting to trade for a .22 cal 1911 style pistol. How are the Sig, GSG or whatever other brands? Which should be a good shooter?

Somehow, I can't help but think that you are coming out on the short end of the deal.

I agree with that you might be coming out on the short end depending on the deal you strike. I will tell you I love my GSG and my friend loves her SIG. I had some work done from cwaccessories.com with mine it shoots very very well.

I just want something that's a little cheaper to shoot...I was looking at the sig honestly. What is this Umarex company that's selling Colts? Or am I confused?

Umarex produces some models that are sold as Colt.

So they are manufactured by Umarex but sold as colt reproductions? And what about a .22 that isn't dedicated?

I have no idea what you .45 is worth, But you should easily be able to pick up a .22lr for around $200 and keep your .45
Best of luck

This is what I would prefer, but I don't have an extra $200 atm. I just started looking so I'll see what I can find.

IMO, it would be a poor trade unless there was some sizeable money to boot on it the offer. there is no way i would trade one of my 45's for a 22.
