Default $400.00 Colt.

A friend of mine has a brother who is selling his UNFIRED SS Colt MKIV. My buddy has been secretly holding on to it for me for a couple of months. I thought he sold it for his brother. Called me last night and said to send him $400.00 and it is mine to keep. Wanted to pay me back for putting him on the best deer stands when he comes out of Fl every year to deer hunt. Always gets a shot at a big one and he goes home with 4-5 deer. His brother will take $800.00 for it. I believe it's 84-85 year model which is about the time his brother said he bought it. SN 10882 Cane I'm sure you will now something about it. Series 80.

That is a great deal for $400 even for $800 its a good deal. That looks like a 70 series though. You can tell the diffrence between the 70 and the 80 just by the trigger. Unless he switched the trigger im pretty confident that its a 70 series. And you said he bought it in '84....hmmm

Sounds like one of those 'too good to be true' things. If it hasn't been butchered by kitchen table 'smithing, I'd guess it's a steal at $400!

Nothing has been changed. Never shot or broke down. Wiped down twice a year. That's it. That's what buds are for. He bought me a RIA 9mm tac last year. Says he watches the hunting shows where they kill "management bucks" and he kills them bigger and doesn't pay 2,500 for it. The price that most would pay is 1,100-1,300 for this gun, So yea 400.00 is a steal. He has a couple of more guns for sale but I already own them.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
