All of the micro sized 380's are dependable today ALL OF THEM. Ruger, kt and tuarus wear junk when they first came out. They all have made corrections to fix the problems. Biggest thing to watch for today is ammo and shooter issues. Feed it well and hang on tight. If your looking at a walther PPK pattern pistol look at bersa from there 380CC to the thunder and thunder PLUS pistols.

I also had a Bodyguard .380 it was a great carry weapon due to small size and lightweight. Only downfall was mine was a earlier model and I had a lot of problems w the laser, I never got it working right even after receiving parts two times from S&W. Laser issue aside it was a well made, well thought out weapon. I upgraded to a XDs and passed the little Smith to a lady friend, if I didn't have such a mans More Power attitude I'd still be carrying it.

Ruger LCP .380 is what I have as a backup. Compact, dependable, & accurate. Use it as a primary at times because of its lightness. But when you shoot it it is lethal and powerful.
