I want exactly what Cane proposed. A 1911 in its original conception (with modern steel of course)

It's a perfect price for four of them.

Greetings. I am a Moderator for an on line gun forum: www.firearmstalk.com

Lately there has been much interest in the 2011 Anniversary of the vernerable 1911's induction into the US Arsenal. Everyone is wondering who is going to produce a Centennial Edition that would be both practical, useful and a collectors' piece.

We are wondering if Dave Lauck has any plans for next year's model line?
"Hi JD

I have been considering this as well.

I just finished one for R Lee Ermey, and now doing some for the TX Rangers , Rangers of the Year.

Well, this is an interesting turn. More probing of the Masters continues.....

WOW! That is amazing; any publisher that sees that pistol, its image will be on the cover. The United States Marine Corps would be proud!

Yeah. Dave Lauck is a 1911 Mastersmith and he is WELL regarded in the world of the 100 year old design.

I do have one of his 1911's on my bucket list.
