I'd love to own one, but I know they are going to be expensive....then I would be too afraid to shoot it.

I tell you what, I'll help you fund yours...I'll buy that 460 kit from ya'

Sorry bro. stalkingbear has purchased that .460 kit several months ago.

But, I know where you can get a stainless one for a Colt that is completely worthless in the rest of the pony realm.

DefaultResponse from Nighthawk

Okay, so I got a response concerning the 2011 Anniveresary Model from the good folks at Nighthawk. Unfortunately, there isn't much to report. Here is the letter:

Quote:
Sorry for the delayed response. We just returned from the Shot Show late Sunday night and I am still trying to get caught up on my emails.

We are building a 2011 Anniversary Model and it is going to be something really special. Due to not wanting our competition to know what we are planning I cannot disclose our plans but I know it will be in high demand. I hope you will understand why I cannot tell you more about the design.

We appreciate all your business and support and look forward to you owning one of our anniversary models.

Sincerely,

Mark Stone

So, at least something is in the works. But what?

That sounds like JD's own design.

He could have at least given a price range so that we could start saving our pennies.

I asked that question in a follow up e-mail and he said that it would be in line with current Nighthawk pistols. Now, while they are not cheap, they are one hell of a good piece of kit. So for about that same money, to get their 100th Anniversary Edition would be pretty cool in my book.

I don't know of any Nighthawks under 2K. Or am I wrong?
