1st 1911 - Kimber Custom II and I like it!!!
 

I've been wanting a 1911 for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. I love it. I know some people don't the extra safety, has anyone really had any trouble with it?

Pics or you dont own it. Can you swing bu the introduction section and tell us a little about yourself please. I look forward to some pics.

I have a Kimber series 1 without the shwartz safety but I have heard that it is not a problem as long as you don't dinc with the adjustments of it.

IIRC all current 1911's with the exception of specific "replica" pistols that are in the Series 70 configuration (and I believe those are not available in all states) have that safety disconnect feature nowadays.

That is a good looking piece you got there. Do you have a Range Report for us. I used to have a pistol that looked kind of like that one....
