One of the best movies of all time... "Pulp Fiction"

Vincent Vega played by John Travolta carries a chromed .45 Auto Ordnance 1911A1 with pearl grips.

That's the one from 2004, not the one from 1989 or 2008.

There's also Hitman, though some of the 1911s shown are double-stacks.

From what I've read, Hollywood still has trouble making .45s cycle reliably with blanks. So they frequently use 9mm versions for longer shots of people firing the guns and more accurate .45 versions for close-ups.

It's been a long time since I saw The Wild Bunch. The 1911 appears in that movie, but I'm not sure how much.

Really because he fired like 20 rounds without reloading when they killed that kid after the SLJ speech.

AARRRRRUUUGGG!!!!

First there was Bruce Willis firing at least 20 rnds from each of his 1911s w/o reloading in "Last Man Standing";.......then, picking out a movie from your lists:

James Caan's "Thief" showing a closeup of a beautiful 6" bbl 1911 in the last 10 minutes of the movie as Caan searches the house of a bad guy who cheats him out of his money.

About 45 seconds later, in the same house, same hunting the bad guy scene, his 1911 changes into a 5".

AARRRRRUUUGGG!!!!!!
