Default 1911cz Heritage Dan Wesson

Hey 1911 Freaks, just got a new Dan Wesson 1911cz Heritage from Cabela's. Best price I could find. Took it to the range and after 4 rds slide froze! Went home cleaned pistol and back to the range the next day, 4 rds, same problem.
Well it's on it's way back to Dan Wesson CZ. They could not have been nicer. This pistol is so sweet I can't begin to tell you all. They'll do there thing to the slide and I'll report back.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Well I hope it's sweeter when you get it back!

When you cleaned the thing after it first froze up, what did you see on rails? Any marks of galling? Did you thoroughly clean the packing grease off before shooting?

I am interested in what the problem is.

No I didn't notice any marks. What I did notice is how tight the gun, I can't believe this is a production handgun.

My wilson is pretty tight and I have never had any problems. Did you take any pictures?
