I would think running like hell would be the most important thing in a "bug-out"...
If I need capacity and accuracy I'll reach for my 10 rounders for my 1911. But if I cant reach that, I'll go for my G-30sf. So I think I'm covered. Personally I'd rather go for my AK with the 40 rounders but that'd be in the " Holy-crap the worlds ending" scenario.

I like Glocks but don't own one, maybe some day. This Colt Series '70 45ACP has been my loyal companion since 1976...

Quentin,
Why on earth would you want a Glock? You have so many other choices and your Colt is nothin" to be ashamed of, it puts Glocks in their rightful place.
Don't get me wrong I do own a Glock 19 but if I had it to do over I'd go for a Sig.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Glocks will do ANYTHING!!! I bought a glock 3 years ago and I haven't made myself breakfast since...my 1911 just lays there. I once smeared my glock with peanut butter and let my dog lick it off. My dog then shot an intruder while I slept. Glocks are clearly superior to anything on the planet, including a baseball bat.

Can't agree any more, Jack. I love my 1911 (and its little brother the Hi-Power). But I'm tempted to add a Glock to the stable someday. 'Course my wish list is long so may never get to it.

Funny pics, Cane! Why can't we all just get along!

I owned a g22, can't stand a gun that requires you to acquire your target three times before it goes bang.

I loath glocks, from experience. I'm just tickled this is in the 1911 section. I made a promise not to go over to the Gaston section and track it up anymore.

You guys are on my turf now. I tend to stay away from the Global Market* now.
* Global Market: Using a German designed Korean made mag, imported into the United states by an Italian, in an American made German designed gun with ammunition from the Czech Republic, to practice shooting Muslim terrorist targets that were printed in China.
