Default 1911 value

Any idea what the value of this older 1911 s&w scandium is worth? It's in 5/5 condition.

I'll give you 10$ for it!

I'd ballpark it at anywhere from 800$-1200$ depending on the buyer, brand new they run around 12-1400$.

When we talk about 1911s that "old" Smith&Wesson is not that old. Any shots fired just makes it used. Find a dedicated S&W collector and you might get the high end of used or low end of used price.

So the $800-1200 estimate is pretty fair.

When you can still get essentially the same model new in the box, there's not much inventive to pay more for one just because its a few years older and sat in a safe.

Yeah I know what you mean. When I said "older" I actually meant the model that came out before this newer e series I can't find much about it on the Internet. I was wondering the value price because I have a guy wanting to trade for my psa ar 15. Or I was offered this with 3 mags and 100 rounds.

I'd estimate the value to be from $700 to $850.
