I have two pistols with rails, a Glock 22 (3rd gen) and a Taurus 1911. The difference between them is pretty drastic though. The Glock has rounded and smoothed front area and would appear to not catch on anything as it is removed from a holster, the Taurus on the other hand has almost sharp edges on the rails, I would be concerned with catching it on something while removing it from a holster that is not one of the hard styles.

The OP posted a simple question. Rude answers are uncalled for. OP, please mind your responses as well.

I'll mind my responses, but I have a zero tolerance for bull crap like that. I tend to get heated quick, I apologize.

The dawson rail is the most common add on light rail for a 1911 that is used by the most people. A gunsmith can ad that pretty easily....

In my opinion, the TRP Operator is the most beautiful pistol. When I get one, I shall stop buying pistols(but still open to revolvers and rifles.
