thanks i think the actual hardest part of the whole thing was the waiting to be finished and be able to carry it again lol

I gotta admit i just flew threw the thread and details to see the pics and end product.
But ill be going back and reading it all to see just how had it was of a job from start to finish.
Im no gunsmith, But im good enough at fixing and destroying things i need to justify upgrading. But i cant afford the end product like you have all at once.
But i could afford to start with the same or similier gun and upgrade it myself, Bobtail included as thats a necessity. I will just need to not get hung up on internals until i get the externals where i want them.
Thanks for posting all the info i know i will find it usefull in the future.
BTW all 1911's should be Bobtails! Even my cheap PT1911 needs that mod done.

If im able to do a project like this it would be my MOST carried gun.
See i have a full sized 1911 i carry 80% of the year in Ohio and a smaller gun for the hottest days of summer. But i want a small/mid sized 1911 that i can carry all year long.
Holster wear is sexy, Didn't you know that?
