mines prettier! here's mine after some minor mods. toned down the chrome to look more like stainless, laminated checkered wood grips in grey, new slide stop release in matte black, thumb safety in matte black, mag release in matte black, and stainless hex head grip screws.

Lol nice mods. Have not had a chance to mess with mines yet being less than a week old. But mine will have second amendment wood grips with "America, F**k Yeah" engraved right side of slide & mirror finnish polish on sides of frame & slide. Gotta love it.

shoot, mine wasn't even a day old and 100 rounds through it!

those Commanders are hard chrome, you might find trying to polish them to a mirror finish hard to do. try toning it down instead. i spent about 4-6 hours on just the slide and frame to get mine where it is. i still might try toning it down some more in the future.

I don't think mines has 100 yet lol maybe 70-80 & mostly reloads. The trigger pull is sweet though. I'm used to Glock but always wanted a 1911. Still getting used to it but it dumps shell casings right in my face. Only thing I don't like about it.
