Deerhunter, nice looking RIA! i didn't even know they offered that model. did you add those grips, or did they come with them?

Those grips i've always had a love/hate relationship with- I did a compromise on mine with inserts- Think i like'm - Longballer wood/Pearce rubber

Hossfly, that's just downright nice looking! i like how you used the combination of the rubber finger grooves with the wood grips. the best of both worlds there. nice!

Not a true 1911, working on it, but can't seem to pull the trigger at .50 cents a round.

No sir- just added the base pads to them, they work good without them but great with them

Hmmm I added mine and the base of the one that came with the officers model was to wide to properly lock in and would spit it out after the first round had to use kimbers or chip mckormicks with the base pad
