Does anyone know anything about the IAC regent 1911 in .45? I'm thinking about buying one and I would like to know if anyone has one or knows anything about them

Alright 1911 guru's, i recently got my tan hogue wrap around grips and while looking around ive see some duracoated 1911 slides to match the grip, im leaning towards doing so.

I have contacted lauer(duracoat) and they offered to match the grip color at no extra cost since they have not yet mixed this color.

Just looking for some wiser input before i start tearing it apart

Edit: I have a Taurus pt1911b-9 full blue 9mm
