Very nice and my first time the spring went in my wife's fish tank.
Mine landed conveniently right next to me, but added a small dent in the ceiling. Scared the crap out of my wife. The two more times I did it while reassembling weren't quite as loud, but were much more damaging to my pride.
The spring got me on my first field strip as well,which wasn't as bad considering that was the only time. But I did leave the tell-tale crescent scratch of a newb 1911 owner when I took the slide stop out
They are nice, had my Springer "Loaded" 45 for a while now and really like it, especially with the Wilson combat mag.
