1911 magazine question, Cane..Anyone
Cane/Anyone,
I have colts, kimbers and sig sauers and a Remington for all my 1911's. I have everything from a 3 inch compact, 4 inch commander, and of course the 5 inch. What type of magazines would you recommend? Regardless of price. I want the best. Thank you everyone for your help, Ed

The big three that i have seen recommended have been Tripp Research, Wilson Combat and Chip Mccormick.

I have some Tripps and McCormick's, both are great in all 15 of my 1911s.

ive got more than a few real milsurp mags that i got from our arms room when the army transitioned from 1911 to the berreta pos m9.
the work flawless in all my guns. there are a lot of gunshow 1911 mags from china and korea vendors try to pass off as real.

I switched to Tripp mags last year or so and bought rebuild kits for my Wilsons and McCormicks. So, I have a number of Tripp Cobra's and my others have Tripp springs and followers.

^^^ All of the Above
I have some WC's for *ultra* reliability, but luckily the stuff I own works perfectly well with factory Colt magazines which are $8 each new from my sources.
