I'm a little leery of that material, looks ridged and stiff??? I don't have a lot of actual $$ tied up in my CDP, I obtained it in a swap but it's in great shape and I'm scared a stiff possibly abrasive material will cause excessive wear.

Both the Army issue,
and one used while in the Army.

I understand the concern about wear. If it fits tight like mine does then it should not wear anymore than a good leather holster will. I have been carrying in this holster for a year now and see NO signs of wear yet.
