Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 is the best holster out there. It's expensive and takes 20-24 weeks to ship. That's what happens when they're the best.

It's not quite the VM2, but you can get a Summer Special with no wait from Brownells. I hate waiting.

I hate waiting as well, I glanced at that one as well. I clicked a link to one dealer and everything was sold out there too lol I think I'll at least wait till the weekend and take a look at the gun show now that I have a feel for price etc.
Went to two shops today, neither had anything 3" specific.
I know another local shop carries Don Hume holsters.. What do you guys think of them? I know a couple ppl who use them and like them but I like hearing as many opinions as possible.

I picked it up at Ben's Loans in downtown Renton. They don't seem to stock them anymore.
I sure hope this holster maker is till around.
I don't like to say that any holster "Is the Best Ever", but this one is exactly what I wanted.

I found them on FB via Google, not able to make the gun show this weekend either due to work, I'm going to keep looking. One thing is clear though, I'm going to have to wait for a quality holster(to be built).

If you're looking for an IWB check out Old Faithful Holsters. Great quality leather, thick kydex, all components made in the US. Small business owner as well. I liked that I was able to order a quick assembly kit, put it all together myself and saved myself a few bucks. You can even have them send you a blank square of kydex and form it yourself if you have a unique pistol. I like the fact that the kydex and leather are attached via hex screws NOT rivets so your can co tiniest to adjust them until the leather is well formed. Then if you want you can use a little blue loktite on them. I have been happy with mine, I use it with my Beretta Nano. Very comfortable, tucks well, and is quite adjustable.

Someone on another forum mentioned Sportsmens Warehouse.
It was a Gouldrich & Gould (spelling).
Every now and then Sportsmens has some pretty good deals and their return policy is excellent. Just a thought.

There are several very good options for holsters for a 1911, Thesis is one that pops up every time to me. I made one that works great for CC or Open Carry for my Ultra CDP II
