Default 1911 hi cap ?
Mainly talking about the Para ordnance hi capacity 1911's that I have been seeing a lot lately. Just wondering if anyone has had or heard about any feed problems with the double stack mags. I know the single stack 7 or 8 rounds is such a classic and wondered if they should have left perfection alone.

I've got the 14-45 Para and shoot it regularly,both with 10 and 14 rd. mags,no problems.Para has been making this style gun for many years.

If you want a hi-cap 1911 get a Browning Hi Power.

They make a browning high power in .45? I know Mr. Browning made both designs, so I am taking it that that was what you were saying. Sorry, am still a newb and have a lot to learn. This site has certainly helped though.

The OP asked for a hi-cap 1911. (No reference to caliber.) If they did make a Browning Hi Power in 45 ACP it would need to be single stack. I think the market for a double stack 45 ACP is consigned to Hell-Boy and his ilk.

I think the BHP is the logical choice for someone that is seeking a hi-cap 1911. Why? Consider the source.
