Don't be like that... I'm gonna get a 3.5 inch barrel officer variant for concealed carry...

New to the forum, but happy to be here......

I wouldn't worry about going to Hell in regards to 8+ mags and too short/long barrels.....I look at it like a Kosher hotdog: no matter how you cook it, its still a hot dog if it fits in the bun.

1911's mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I know what FTF stands for, cause that's what 1911's do unless you use ammo that will that will go straight through your target. 1911's are like a woman you want be with but she just won't act right. Or unreliable friends you keep around. But I still want to be with her and your friends are your friends. Rock on 1911

If you have any problems with the 1911a1, then something is not "right". I do not have any FTF's with my 1911a1's. Some are picky about the diet, but you have that with some women, too.

Unreliable? I would do something to fix that. If I can't rely on it, I don't need or want it. Heck, I still have my first 1911a1 from over 25 years ago. If I do my part (keep it clean, change springs, use quality mags), my 1911a1's do theirs.
