Default 1911 ftf

hey all,

I have roughly 1000 rounds thru my 1911 with no issues.
Today and yesterday I had 2 rounds that dimpled the primer but didnt fire. What would your best guess be as to the culprit? More likely bad primers or firing pin maybe? The failures looked to be dimpled the same as the 100 rounds that went off. Factory loads 230 lawman. Thanks

If I get a dud I usually put it with the empties and re-load.

If I get two, (especially factory loads) I try to fire them a second time. If they go boom, its the gun.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!
