Default 1911 Combat Training Video

Kickin' it old school with the 1911, great stuff here. Enjoy! I enhanced the video with better audio and video.

Took a peek at it yesterday. It seems to me I saw he same video, or something similar, when I learned how to shoot the 1911 as a Navy corpsman...42 years ago. But I remember the first aid/field med instructor at corps school in San Diego...a grizzled old chief..saying "if you guys get to Vietnam, and some of you will...keep that .45 but go down to the armory and check out a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun. That way of you're ambushed while treating someone and some ---- jumps up from behind a hush, you can blow him away, and you don't have to be all that accurate either.". I never went to Vietnam, and that was the last time I fired a 1911 until I bought one, this spring.
