Take it on faith. Keep it a low priority, other things matter more. BTW not all springfields are totally US. You may wanna research a little beyond the slide stamp.

Ok, well I bought the Springfield Loaded model in stainless today. Will post pics when I pick it up (8 days in our wonderful state).

I've heard nothing but good. Went thru several 1911 Colt GC including, settled on a springer. Congrats and good shooting.

All Springfield Armory 1911's are now assembled in the US as of about 2 years ago.

You made a great choice in your selection. The tightest 1911 I own is my loaded model. Shoot the snot out of it and enjoy.

Congrats on getting a great gun. They are fantastic shooters. I kind of miss mine but the trade was too good.
