That is about number eleventy billion on the list of things you need to worry about. The 9mm doesn't beat a frame (neither does a 45 for that matter). A hot rodded 'Super might...MIGHT...but the 1911 frame will take all the rounds you want to send down the pipe. ESPECIALLY 115gr ball practice ammo.
