Default 1911 - 9mm Officer Size - What Brands ?

Just curious, what brands offer a 1911 in 9mm in the "Officer" size? The only couple I can think of off hand are the Springfield EMP and the Dan Wesson.

What others are there?

Also, for those of you that have experience with certain brands, were they positive or negative experiences?

I think STI has some nice small 1911 9mms. And they seem to be a well thought of company.

I just bought a Springfield EMP and I love it. Shoots great, low recoil, great trigger. Very reliable except with Brass Max ammo.

Kimber makes a few models in 9mm. STI has several. Possibly Sig.

I would go with the EMP, STI, or Dan Wesson. The shorter rounds tend to have issues in a 1911, so you want to buy from a company with a good reputation and GOOD customer service.

Colt CCO, also Colt Defender or a New Agent are small 1911 style pistols.

the MetroArms Amigo is an Officer sized 1911. not for sure if it comes in 9mm though.

i am on my second MetroArms 1911, an Amercian Classic Commander. truly a great pistol. the first was an American Classic II Government model that i bought used and was a great pistol as well.

I love my Dan Wesson CCO. If I didn't already have it, the ECO would definitely be worth a look.

You might also wish to have a look at STI. They have several you might find interesting.
While you're at it, don't forget Colt.

The Dan Wesson CCO is only an officer frame. It has a Commander length barrel and slide.

The ECO is their true officer size gun.

Also Colt Defender in 9mm.

Iirc the EMP is actually slightly smaller than an officer, I could be mistaken though.

Thanks for the responses everyone. So, so far we've got:

Springfield
Para
STI
Kimber
Dan Wesson
Sig (?)
Colt
MetroArms (?)

Did I miss any?

Lots of great companies here. Looks like we've got quite a bit of research to do.
