Not Sure where your buying Ammo but there is not much diff in price where I get mine. Maybe a dollar. Go with the .45.

At my local shop .45 is a little less than double 9mm..... online the best I've seen .45 is still about 50% more than 9mm......I'm open to better options for ammo purchase

I have both a Springer Loaded and a Fusion in a 9mm, and really enjoy shooting both of them. I also have numerous .45's.

Contrary to some opinions on here, there is absolutely nothing wrong with owning a 1911 in a 9mm. You will notice, it is becoming more popular then in the past. If it wasn't, you wouldn't see the manufacturers adding them to their lineup.

It's a nice round to shoot once in a while when you don't want to spend the extra money shooting a .45 round.
