Default 10mm

Anyone like them in 10mm? Mine is old and used, The weak point is the barrel bushing. We are talking a true 1911 design. Awesome handgun after I bought it used, 15 years ago.!

Very nice gun!

I love the 1911 and the 10mm. But for my full size 10mm I picked the EAA Witness because it seems to have no weak points and the weight of the full mag (15 rounds) really tames the recoil of full power 10mm loads.

I can carry it C&L like my beloved 1911s or lower the hammer for a DA first shot if I want.

My uncle only likes 10mm. He says they shoot much flatter.

That's why you need to roll your own.

I just sold my Kimber Stainless Target II 10mm to buy a Kimber Pro Carry 45.

10mm in a 1911 is ultimately badass. It tolerated super hot loads with no problems. Someday ill get another 5" 10mm.
I too have a G20, 3rd gen. I regularly kick IDPA ass with it.

I've never seen an EAA Witness before, but that thing looks so much like a CZ 75B it's not even funny.

Once I start reloading(who knows when that'll be) I'd like to pick up something in a 10mm, just not sure what.

Fred, Your pm is turned off. My FFL has a few FS. All New.
Witness P: .45acp, 38super, 9mm, .40S&W ...$1100.00 for the set
Witness .38 super.. $290.00

You really do need to reload for 10mm. I shoot cast lead for pennies or 180gr HP's. Awesome round.

Didn't realize it was turned off. I'll have to find out how to fix that. Thanks for the info though.
