JOwens, I can tell you're a knowledgeable guy and are certainly welcome here. Your opinion does matter. But take some time to get to know the ropes here before challanging senior members, especially moderators! This is a very friendly site and we don't like bickering, it's ok to disagree (and we all have our own opinions) but do so with tact and respect. I'm sure you've seen how bickering gets out of hand on other sites and that's something we all try to avoid here. Just makes it a more pleasant experience.

JD is an extremely knowledgeable guy with a lot of years in the gun industry and is an excellent gunsmith. We all learn a lot from him. I sure am amazed by many of his technical comments in various threads. Read his comments in other threads and you'll soon see what I mean. The man knows his stuff!

Anyway, I hope you stick around and bet you'll like the place if you do...

Thanks Quentin, I appreciate the good advice and kinder words.

Mr Owens felt that actively making fun & ridiculing of customers of the world's greatest gun shop where he and his friends "work" because their terminology was the way to treat people.

A couple of reported posts later and Mr. Owens will now have the ability to pursue forum life somewhere in which his views and those of the the forum he inhabits are more in tune.

At FTF we strive to get more facts out there and less ridicule, it leads to more informed gun owners and a better advancement of the sport we love and hold dear.

JD
