Default Glock Night Sights

I have the Tru Dot MH3's on my Model 20, and they have served me quite well. But, I have to agree that it's largely a personal thing.

One thing that I did notice after changing from the stock barrel to the Lone Wolf was that I don't have to "Bury" the front sight at short ranges now. It seems to hit point of aim pretty reliably out to twenty-five yards now.

I have Glock night sights on my 19. Wouldn't care if it didn't have them. I'm impartial to night sights in general.

I guess I'm old school, but I will be installing some 10-8 Glock sights with the brass bead insert on a used G17 I picked up last week. I like the ledge on the back sight that I can rack the slide with one hand on my belt if needed. The brass bead is easy to pick up and works well for me. I had this set up on a 1911 and I liked it. You can get it with a night front sight if you wish.

Here is what the 1911 sights looked like before I installed them.

if shooting in low light conditions, can the flash from your gun really mess with your night time eye sight?

I mean, are night sights really a worthy investment?

I'm getting a tactical light for my Glock, should be here soon

Default can be blinding

indyfan; Sir; without question; it can be blinding. That first time you'll say wow weee,
I have an opinion about 'nite sights'; sometimes a positive; other times ??? not needed?? wishy-washy with myself. Having done some night shooting; ''still after all this time'' still on the fence.

Default Night Sights

Just another vote for Trijicon. Have tried several brands and they are my personal choice.
