I need to get back to Texas so I can get my new gun... I'm not sure but I think I want a 45 or a 357 GLOCK. But I want sub compact so I'm not sure. I have never owned a 45 I am a 9mm only pistol guy. So what is better to have in your opinion |

That's personal preference. The 9 ammo that's out nowadays is perfectly suitable for SD. Many swear by .45, a big slow moving projectile.
Myself, I prefer magnums. I'm thinking about the 1911, keeping in mind that one day I can convert it to .460 rowland.
I like velocity, I like weight, I like diameter. The maximum combination of all of those that I can practically carry, is my desire. __________________ LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!! |

The 9mm is faster at 1160 fps and the 45 is about 870 fps but I do like the stopping power of a 45. I use +P JHP 9mm PDX1 and they are seriously hard core. So I think I may stick to that. But a 45 may be in order for this coming year lol |

Since I have all the practical firearms I need, and then some, I intend to work on my collection of Mosin Nagant rifles. __________________ Chuck Yeager said, "It's the man, not the machine." |

Interesting, and which one do you have your eyes on for now? I may just learn something from you, since I wanna move into the three gun shoot soon. |
