Default What Glock to buy, 26 or 27?

I own a Glock 19 and a Kahr CM9. I carry the 19 IWB and pocket carry the Kahr. I am getting anxious (again) for another gun and considering a Glock 26 or 27. I am leaning toward the 27 because I have the Kahr and would like a 40 in the safe. Any thoughts?

You can always get the 27 and a 9mm conversion barrel.

Glock27- with additional barrels you can shoot 40 cal, 9mm, 357, and 22 conversion. 4 guns in one- no brainer! Basically you get the G27 and a G26 thrown in with a purchase of a $100 9mm barrel- with the G26 you get just a 9mm only. I mean why would'nt you buy the G27 with more options? I love to be able to switch out at the range!

Soon you're going to get a bunch of responses from people saying "neither"...

I'd go with the 27, myself.

True story-
A few months after I bought my G27, my younger brother and I who already owned a G26 went to the range one day, after shooting my G27 in 40 cal for awhile I switched to my new Lone Wolfe 9mm barrel and shot. I guess he was unaware you could do this- he kept picking up my G27 and noticing they were "exactly" the same pistol in design- and when I told him you could shoot 357 also, he finally got pissed and asked me why he didnt just buy a G27 in the first place and just buy additional barrels? (I did my homework) he said he felt cheated and it was like buying a new car with no options/upgrades- It bugged him for about 2 weeks until he sold his G26 and bought a G27! He now loves the option to carry in a larger calibers and shoot in 9mm if he wants.

The Glock 27 is one of the best CCW pistols for Summer months and can be carried in cargo shorts in a $10 Black Hawk size 4 pocket holster. The 3.5" barrel in 40 S&W has consistently met FBI standards during testing. You do not have to worry about finding select +p or +p+ which may be currently hard to locate in 9mm.

27 !! I love mine..the 40 caliber is excellent, I want to trade it though for the G23 because if the grip and a slightly bigger gun is what I'd like but if your sticking to the baby Glocks I highly recommend the 27 it's amazing

I love my 27. It has replaced my previous carry gun.
