Default Update + I got a new glock

Hello everyone, I know it has been a year or more since I have been on but life after graduating college has been busy, I currently work as a mentor for at-risk foster kids and have been testing like crazy for 911 dispatch, corrections and police officer jobs. I have also been thinking of doing an online school for a second degree in psychology!!!!!! anyways I hope you are all doing well and I got myself a glock 19 9x19 from my stepdad, he did not want it anymore so I got the gun, Blackhawk holster, single gun safe (the kind you attach to the wall) and two clips/magazines (yes I will admit I do not know the difference yet) for a grand total of $50.00

Great price! Cool, a very early model that looks to be in great shape. Congrats.

PS, they are mags. No big deal but their are "clip Nazi's" on every forum. lol

Sent from a phone I can use to do my taxes, but can't make a damn call.

Damn 50 bucks for a Gen 2 G19 that still has a serial number. Can't beat that...... It looks minty fresh still too. If I could find a second gen 17 or 19 in good shape for a fair price I'd pick it up in a heartbeat!

also, as far as psych careers go, do yourself a favor. talk to people in the field.

I'm sure states vary a lot as far as requirements go, but my far far better half went and got her masters in marriage and family therapy ( I swear I'm the case study for her doctoral thesis...but I digress). hers is not as desirable as some others.

difference is pay scale is...substantial.

make sure you pick the right choice on which licensure you choose to attain.

(just my approx $100k...praying your mileage varies)

I was, until I learned that someone has it too good

The icing is the grip. Gen 2 is best, IMO. I don't like having my fingers forced into the grooves cut for my "convenience".

To all, a bachelors in psychology does not mean a career in psychology. It can be a door opener into sales and all kinds of communicating with the ugly human species. Better than a degree in English

If I get a degree in psychology I would use it to help get on at a police department or a juvenile jail I want to do it, I am just not 100% sure it will bump me up in the process.
