Default trying to understand need help

I don't understand the g17 or the g19 what does this stand for the17 is what calipers and what is the 19 and so on and so on

Well I know they're both 9mm and the g17 is bigger than the g19 but I don't know what the numbering system is all about.

The numbering is just based off of the order of patents. The 17 was patented before the 19.

Ok so the 9mm is the 17 and 19
There 380 and a 9 , 40 and a 45 what is the G# for these

Wow I didn't know there is that many glocks I'm thinking about getting 1 my favorite caliper is 9 millimeter so do you all recommend
