Mechanically there isn't much difference between a M&P and a Glock trigger. The M&P has a shorter trigger than a Glock and a Glock has a better reset.

You can go to both factory websites and several magazines have done independent testing on both pistols. The Glock 19 has a 5.5 lb trigger pull with .49" of travel. The M&P9 has a 6.5 lb trigger pull with .3" of travel.

In my professional opinion you can't beat the Zev Tech (Glockworx) Z4 Race connector or the LWD 3.5 connector.

Thanks, I was leaning that direction, they got a drop in kit for $180

I noticed that is what Janna Reeves is using.

Zev Tech triggers are my go-to. My G23 I just upgraded to the competition spring kit and a new rear block, with a 25 cent trigger job and it's running like a champ. My only issues has been the reduced spring on the striker. Maybe need a lighter lot skeletonized striker. Otherwise, very happy with their products...

Forget the expensive drop in kits. My gunsmith will put in a zev for about $70.00. 2-3 lb pull.

Looking for a trigger, I came here to do research. I found that drop in triggers are very expensive today. I really like doing my own work, however the professionals have better ideas and know how, not to mention know a whole lot more about what products are out there to produce my requested results. I tried to drop it off, however I was 5th in line and did not want to wait 90 minutes just to hand the gun over with a copy of my email and say go.

I think the trigger and the sights are often unfairly blamed for shooter errors. On the other hand, $100 upgrades may be useful but are rarely game changing. A lot has to do with owner's pride and the mental placebo effect. I know the difference only in match shooting.

If interested, glocktriggers.com has good product.

Supposedly the Haley Skimmer trigger makes the Glock trigger relatively close to a 1911 trigger as far as "feel" is concerned. I don't know what the basis for comparison is, so I have no idea how closely that claim matches reality- especially given the variance in triggers from various 1911's I've shot. That said, Travis Haley is not known for lying.

If such a trigger strikes your fancy, KJL, google "Glock Triggers". If you're insistent on installing an aftermarket trigger in your Glock, be sure to get one that's designed for carry versus competition use.

You may be willing to spend $100-$200 on a Glock trigger, but I'm not ready to spend that kind of money to "improve" a trigger I've already learned to shoot well.
