Default Training smaller people on the Glock 22

The Glock 22 is known to have a stout recoil. Does anyone have any good tips for training women and smaller/thinner people on handling it?

Correct grip, stance, and practice are very important when it comes to managing recoil.

Personal experience , I have not found a Glock my wife is comfortable with. She's small-ish , 118 lbs. 5' 4" and there was no Glock that fit here little hands.
I ended up getting her a Beretta "Nano" .

G-22 .? .40 cal. , 15 shot , has a little oomph , I don't know , you'll have to check it out . The only good thing is , I usually buy something that I want so when she does not like to shoot it , it ends up mine..!

Good luck and I like your new POSSIBLY gun..!

Get a 9mm barrel and 9mm mags for them.

Great suggestion! I am a fairly new shooter and have a gen4 G22 and I got a KKM conversion barrel and 9mm G17 magazine. On a typical range visit I will shoot perhaps 60% 9mm and then 40% .40 cal.

My 22 doesn't have hardly any recoil compaired to my hk usp 45. but i'm not a small person. my wife is and refuses to shoot any of my semi-autos. the g19 to me feels like a .22

Try the glock 17c, wife likes shooting it as she find my 45 to intimidating. The only issue is failure to feed if the are lump wristed due to less gas cycling the action
