He's only 6 but has been asking for a few years now. Bb gun is boring now to him and he wanted a bang. I only held his hands so the glock 23 wouldn't slap him in the face or so he wouldn't drop it. Got 50 rounds off before he was done.

Great job dad! As hard as it is to believe, I still remember my dad doing the same thing 55 years ago. By the smile on his face, so will he in 2067! ;)

Awesome, I love to see other dads teaching their boys / girls, they one day will be the voices of the 2 amendment guardians. Teach em young, teach em safely, you got you a bona fide shooting buddy...

I also found a website awhile back(NRA) I believe, that had a online safety course for youths, it had a lil test at the end that I went through with my son, made it fun, something you can do together and will help with basics. He loved it even though he already was taught these things it sometimes helps to see it coming from another source,,

Awesome, I'm always glad to see responsible parents teaching the next generation of shooters. And like I said before I would much rather shoot with my son than 99% of the "grown ups" I see at my range. We sometimes just sit back and watch to see if he can point out how many safety rules they break,, constantly. Not all the members, thankfully. But enough that a ten yo can spot them...cool.
