Timber-glock-aa-22lr
My version of a semi-custom 22LR Glock type G17.
Start with a blank Lone Wolf Timber-Wolf Lower
Add 1 parts Glock internals + Trigger
Add 1 part Advantage Arms 22LR Conversion kit for G17
When you mix it all up you get

The conversion kit comes with 1 mag, loader, and 22 cal cleaning kit

Next on my list is to change the sights to s set of Ameriglow A GL_212-OR rot and a Black out serrated rear.

And here are the groups that I shot today.
All shooting was done at 40 feet, no bench resting and indoors.
I shot 200 rounds on two separate targets using Remington 22 Golden Bullet (could not find the 525 pack so I had to settle for the 100 round box's).
With this round, I had NOT ONE FTF, FTE, MISS FIRE, JAM OF ANY KIND!
I also tried 1 mag of Winchester 535 Bonus Pack (which is not recommended on AA list) and I had 9 FTF's, & 1 FTE (I will not be using that any more.)

I compete in Steel Competition and the next time out I will try the Timber-Glock-Advantage-22lr from the holster on a timer. Because it is indoors , I will use paper plates set up and will be able to report back.
So that you know, my whole reason behind the 22lr conversion is to be able to practice longer at a lesser cost, and if today was any indication, I will be able to accomplish just that.
Thanks for reading

BY all means..I now have about 1000 trouble free rounds through mine (picked up 4 extra mag's ) and shoot every trip to the range. pre-load 50 rds into the 5 magus (10rd's each) and I am ready to go with 1 re-load at the end.
I use ONLY REMINGTON GOLDEN BULLETS (either the 100 plastic pack or the 525 round pack from Wal-mart) or CCI MINI MAG.
I finda that anything else does not feed right (go figure, a company suggests a given round and they are RIGHT!).
Have fun and report back, Don't forget the pictures

I'm glad there something that likes Golden Bullet. My .22 AR and Ruger Mark III hate it.
Nice conversion and nice shooting, girphoto!

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.
You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.
