This is the first glock I have done. I wanted a little more texture on the grip without adding more size to it. I put houge grips on my other glocks, but they made this glock feel to bulky.

No, no differance. It feels like its coated with sand paper. I just put a 100 rds through it and I like it. I am not going to do anything else to this gun. I prety much like it the way it is. | |

Looks good, you did a great job on it what tip did ya use for the soldering iron ?? I have thought of doing my G27 but just dont know how it would feel after doing it, Id need to hold one in my hands before I did mine LOL... | |

I just used a standard radio shack soddering iron. I just made repeated taps. . . . . . . . . Once the iron is hot it only takes half a second to make a "." then you do an outline of the area and start filling. If you see patterns starting just rotate the gun a differant direction. | |

Just curious but why didnt you just put the grip tape alot of folks use instead of stippling? I've heard from glock armorers that stippling takes away from an already light gun as well as frame stability. I don't know if that's true but that's what the guy said .
Anyways would you care to show any pictures as to the finished product? | |

I didnt want to add any thickness to the grip. I tried a houge grip but it just made the gun feel wrong. The stipple job I did did not remove any material in fact it is about as aggresive as the pattern already on the pistol. I just put the stippling in places that were smooth. It does make a big differance in the grip feel of the gun, even with wet hands. | |

Talon make a great grip that dosen't add thickness. Rubber or the sand paper. | |
