Steel guide rod

Just got mine in the mail today for my g23 anyone like them good or bad?

Let us know what you think. Myself, I've had no problems sticking with the factory RSAs in my Glocks.

Me either I just like to tinker

Yea let us know. My g23 factory plastic rod is still going strong

Glocks are made to flex.

I put one in my G23 and its cool. I actually cant tell the difference because i never used the factory one:o. The steel one is suppose to reduce recoil and lasts longer.

I have a stainless guide rod in my G22. I don't know for a fact
that it makes a difference, but it makes me feel better knowing
that I did something.

You probably will not be able to tell its there. Really only helps when you are going really really fast, there is a slight amount of muzzle flip reduction. But it is more reliable and will last you a lot longer than 3000 rounds.

The factory guide rods WILL break, I've seen it first hand. Not like it's a big thing, they can take a ton of abuse but I just can't see the steel or titanium breaking. Have 2 on order (2 different Glocks) so I can't speak to the recoil affects...and why not have spare parts on hand?

Well I do like having a spare RSA and have done so for my G22 and G23. I also just ordered one for the used G27 I bought about a week ago. All the RSAs are standard Glock.
