Default SO! this is a Glock!

I just bought a Glock 9mm yesterday; mostly because it was that or a Taurus and I don't care for the style of the Taurus. Hubby and I took it to the range awhile ago and....he fell in love with it. I like it and will grow to love it. It bucks a little but I think that is due to the light weight. The main thing is I kept them in a nice group!!!!! Except for the one that was 1/2" from the center of the bulls eye :-)..But two magazines was enough for me to shoot as I have osteoarthritis. It's a little hard on the hands. But it's mine, mine, mine.

Glocks are nice guns indeed, if the regular glock has to much recoil for you look into getting a C model, its simply to slits cut into the slide and barrell also know as a compinsator, there a few bucks more to buy but the reduced recoil is worth it for someone like you, i have a glock 23C and it kicks like a
9mm so id imagine the C model 9mm kicks like nothing.

camra date is wrong

Find a friend with a .40 and a .45. Shoot these for a while and when you get back to the 9mm. , it'll feel like a .22 !

I agree with the C models, and that exactly why I carry a compensated 23. Hence the screen name. Glocks are built like tanks and always perform. What model did you buy?

I got a Glock model 26. I've shot it since I posted last, and it shoots even better. Then when I shoot my Mark III it feels like a bb gun.

Default I've just been busy!

I hadn't shot my glock 9mm for a month; then I went out night before last and shot 2 magazines worth; then shot my Ruger Mark III 3 or 4 magazines worth. Yesterday morning my hands hurt pretty bad. [osteoarthritis]. I need to do some hand exercises. My 88 year old friend says to lift a quart of milk in each hand. Any other suggestions other than a smaller gun? I love this one; am expecting a Ruger .380 for Christmas!!!! :-)

I fired my Glock 19 the last weekend, drop 250 rounds thru it. Still cannot get the wife to fire a semi-automatic pistol or rifle. She loves revolver only!

Try squeezing a raquette(spelling) ball. Cut a hole in it to let the air out and wrap your hand around it like shaking a hand. I have several of my adult students do this to improve grip strength.

My wife's Glock 23 (40S&W) is her favorite. She has a little oesto in her hands also, mostly in her off hand. She has started taking glucosamine with conjroiten(sp) which has helped some. Good luck with that.
