Default Crimson Trace laser

The main reason Crimson trace laser's are so excellent is because the button is on the back handgrip of the gun so as soon as you grip it the lasers on. there's no button to fumble with so even in a live fire situation you can literally shoot from any position without needing to acquire conventional aim (using the sights) and a split-second can literally mean the difference between life and death

Unfortunately I've been in a shoot out (defending my home and loved ones) twice and the last time against 2 armed individuals carrying 9mm's with hollow point rounds. Fortunately I was carrying my Glock 22 (.40 cal) with FMJ rounds which sent them running when they realized they were WAY out gunned. Granted I live in E. Oakland, CA so the average robber isn't too bright...

I'm not sure how "fortunate" or "unfortunate" I have been, but I have only had to Draw a Gun 3 times since leaving the Service, and while in Service, 90% of "Fire" incidents I was involved in, were from "Behind The Canopy & Controls" of Aircraft....
I'm more "upset" that Crime has even found it's was to our Lovely Area of Northern Arizona. We had what could have been an Attempted "push-in" here the Friday before X-mas,..and talking to other Owners here, It's not the first time..

Default Thank you for your service!

I would say, especially considering you have military training, that you're very fortunate because if the situation arises you have the training to do what needs to be done. for a while I lived in Prescott Arizona however due to work reasons ended up in the bay area California after only a month. I'm wondering what you meant when you said a "push in"...and I'm sorry to hear about crime encroaching on your area...That truly saddens me as it's a beautiful area.

Love war stories
Courious- Since they went running how can you know they were carrying 9mm's with hollow points

The reason I know they were firing 9 mm hollow points is because as they were running away they were firing randomly over their shoulder and got off about five rounds three of which I was able to recover because they didn't even penetrate my drywall... whereas my 40 caliber Glock 22 shooting FMJ rounds went through my front door which is 3 inches of solind oak like a hot knife through butter...
