I have been shooting 1911's for about 6 years and have acquired 11 different full frame 1911's. Every thing from Springers to Roc's to a Caspian build. I have been a 1911 fan since the first time I shot one. That said, I bought a glock because summer is coming and the full framed 1911's are hard to conceal even though they are very slim. I purchased a Glock 19 Gen 4. The first couple of times I took it out I had 4"-5" groups at 25'! After spending much more time adjusting to the sights and working with trigger control on the heavy Glock trigger. I can now consistently produce 1.5"-2" groups at 25'. The guns we shoot are often more accurate than the shooter, we just have to practice and practice more. I just hope with more practice that I can get to a point where I can consistently get 1" groups at 25'.
All this talk about accuracy has me dreaming about a Glock 34
