Default should i wait?

Hey whats up people, I have a situation. I have a G23 3rd. gen and i love it. The thing is eventually i will want another loyal friend to have around. I thought about xd and strong about the m&p(love how it looks) Anyway, i decided to stay at home with Glock for numerous reasons. I thought about G30 or G21 but dont wanna have to buy for two different calibers. Ok, back to the .40 but which one? If i get the sub-compact, it would only be for carry, G22, uuumm..maybe, why not G23 again, but the gen4. I hear problems with the gen4 so should i wait or was the problem just with the 9mm?

I would wait a while on the Gen4 until they get the bugs worked out.

I learned along time ago that you should listen to your gut if it tells you to wait. I usually like to wait for 6-12 months when a new weapon comes on line so they can work the bugs out.

If I were you I would go ahead and get the 3rd Gen Glock 23 or which ever Glock is the same caliber/mag. I purchased a XD45 Service and ended up getting the XD45C as a spare.

Of course you could get a G20 and a 40 barrel for it and shoot both 10mm and 40 S and W for double the fun.
