Default Shot my new Glock!

After not shooting for awhile, I finally got a deal on a Glock 36 and rejoined the world of shooting. I went to the range today and shot a box to see how it felt. The 36 is a very nice shooting gun, but somewhat different than my previous revolvers (.38 Charter Arms, and .357 Rossi) I quickly learned to keep my thumb out of the way of the slide! Once I got a feel for it, and was able to inspect my target, I started to score a few hits. On the list for my next trip, other than more ammo, is better targets, and my binoculars. Time to start getting more accurate.

Sounds like you had a pretty decent first trip with the new model. Congrats.

I moved your thread to the Glock Forum where it might garner some more like minded folks.

Default Great day there, flbandit!

Nothing like a day at the range to make one feel humble, yet exhilarated.

The Glock is an excellent platform, with reduced recoil and longevity. Wow! I sound like a Glock commercial! I have owned and shot Glocks since the eighties and still love them.

Glad you are back into shooting and hope to hear more from you here at the best gun forum around.

Edit: poor typing skills

the only single stacked Glock...and a .45acp at that...what's not to like (other than capacity)?
