The other reason I like Glocks is their simplicity. I can have my 19 totally detail stripped in about 3 minutes, and back together in about 5. Want a different slide release? You can change it out. Want a lighter trigger? You can make it happen with little work. Mag release too short for you? Take 2 minutes and put in a longer one.

In my first post, I was short on time and answered short. But, Fred, I agree totally with your reasons for buying a Glock....a 19 in particular.

Those are my reasons also, but would never force someone to buy a handgun that didn't feel good in their hand. If it feels good, buy it.

Most of that is ammo and the range fee anyway, which is something you have to pay for regardless.

Wouldn't be so bad if i was going to the range anyway, but I live in the sticks and save for my ccw class have never even been past the counter of a range Saves me some cash.

Well, I thought long and I thought hard and made a decision.

I bought a gen 3 19 and a Galco gunleather IWB holster.

Decided against the 23 because I don't love the 40s&w.

I may post pics but we all know what it looks like.

Default Because...

The Glock 19, like ALL Glocks, go "bang" EVERY time. I'll admit, I've drunk the Glock kool-aid and think they are perfection. I have a Glock 19, Gen 4, and have put thousands of rounds through it without a single hiccup. It's mag capacity, here allowed, at 15+1, is superior to most other 9mm handguns and it's size is perfect for concealed carry, which I do every day. I use a 5.11 Tactical Gear holster shirt. I carry my G19 on one side under the arm and two 17 round back up mags under the other. I can wear ANY shirt on top and there is NO printing at all. The G19 is big enough to be accurate at quite a distance (see YouTube videos, hickok45), but small enough to take anywhere. I also own a Glock 17L for my Duty/Service weapon. It is amazingly accurate and it can be carry concealed in my holster shirt if I feel like it on any given day. But the 19 is what I primarily carry and I'd bet my life on it, every time. Shoot Straight...

I have a Glock 17, Glock 17L I built, a Glock 19, a Glock 23, A glock 26 and a Lone Wolf Timberwolf 17 frame with an an Advantage arm 22 upper on. 9 out of 10 time when I leave the house I grab my 19 and take it with me. I can't give y a reason why I like it better but I do.

Any handgun that can not shoot lead bullets can not live at my house. Glocks are like sick puppies they must be fed a special diet.
