Default Range polish

Decided to attempt a Range Polish on a G22 today leaving the top of the slide black and the rear with the original glock coating intact. After about an hour of polishing and masking off the top I have sort of an idea of what it will look like. (this is no where near done) just thought I'd see what you guys think so far. I'll update my progress.

I like the look of that. How long does it take for you to do the whole slide from start to finish?

It's a bit tough to see the contrast in the pics. Look forward to seeing it further through the process.

If I just polish a slide to a mirror finish only two days but I've seen several pics of the range look lately and decided to do it to one of my own guns. I've never attempted this type of polishing so I don't know how long it's gonna take me on this look.

Starting on the other side. Masked off the line.

That looks pretty Damn good. I wonder how one would look if you left the top black and just the back of the sides at a 45 degree angle just forward of the grooves.

Added a freshly finished polished barrel. Still working on the sides of the slide. Have to put the sights back on. Total still about 4 hours of work left.

How much would you charge to polish a slide and barrel on a Glock17?
