It's always good to shoot off a full mag of what you are going to carry. Don't want to shoot too much of them, cuz they cost more.

I had me a. 38 spl that realy didnt like one brand of ammo. It was so bad i couldnt hit a pie plate twice at 25 yrds. But it did like another, all six rounds in a inch or so.

As long as the range allows it. Honestly, it's a very stupid idea to carry something that you never shot. But, that's my opinion.
